Grant Guidelines
All applicants interested in receiving grant funds from Growing Healthy Families Foundation (GHFF), including prior grantees, must first submit a Letter of Inquiry. Proposals submitted without an initial Letter of Inquiry will not be reviewed by GHFF.
The Letter of Inquiry must include a description of your organization with contact information, mission, and operating history, a statement of need including costs/budgets and the demographics of the people you plan to serve, a time line for your proposal, and a copy of your latest tax-exempt status letter. GHFF's Board of Directors will respond to Letters of Inquiry in a timely fashion. If the Board determines the grant request falls within GHFF's focus areas and wishes to pursue a funding opportunity, a Director will be assigned to the organization and the organization will be asked to fill out a grant application and submit a proposal. The applicant may also be notified to submit additional information if a decision cannot be made on the basis of the initial Letter of Inquiry.
